{rent with me}

Overwhelmed by all the scams online?Navigating the Boston rental market is not for the faint of heart. Let me be your GPS

I can help you determine your ideal neighborhoods based on your daily commute and any other important factors, figure out public transportation and walking options, as well as driving and parking options. I specialize in rentals in Beacon Hill and Back Bay and frequently have access to listings you may not see elsewhere.

Price Point:

Most landlords will require your income to equal approximately three times the rent. Evaluate your other monthly costs to see how much you are comfortable spending on rent.

Time Frame:

Most rentals come on the market a month or two prior to the move-in date with the exception of September rentals. We start receiving September inventory in February and it continues to trickle in throughout the spring and summer.

The Process:

1. make an appointment to view apartments

2. once you have found an apartment you are ready to apply for, submit the application along with paystub and a check for the first month's rent. This allows me to begin the approval process.

3. I will check your credit, references, and verify employment and present all information to the landlord.

4. If you are approved, the lease will be prepared and the remainder of your up front funds will be due at the time of signing (usually within a few days from submitting your application)

The maximum you can be required to pay up front is equal to four month's rent:

first month, last month, 1 month security, and 1 month broker fee. Some rentals may only require the equivalent of three month's rent, but less than this would be rare.
